Test results

It is possible to book in for blood tests here at the surgery. We offer morning appointments with our Health Care Assistant and phebotomists.

Another option is to attend the phlebotomy clinic at the Countess of Chester Health Park at the GP Blood Department, located in the 1829 Building  Countess of Chester Hospital – you can book online  http://www.coch.nhs.uk/blood-test-booking.aspx

You could also book into Extended Hours – see below.

 

Blood Test Appointments in the Extended Hours Service

Phlebotomy (blood test) appointments are available in extended hours as follows, subject to availability:

• 1829 building:  Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm (last appointment 4.50pm)
• Bunbury Medical Centre:  9.00am – 12pm Saturdays
• note: You will need take your blood form issued by us, to your Bunbury appointment.

If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.

Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:

• in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
• in your Patient Access account
• phone us between 10am and 3pm, and we will tell you what the results are
