If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

GP Enhanced Access Hours

Need a weekend or evening appointment? Please contact reception at Kelsall for the appointments below.

The GP Enhanced Access Hours Service is designed to provide patients with appointments outside core general practice hours for routine care and is available:

Kelsall Medical Centre: GP and a Nurse or Healthcare Assistant are available.

Tuesday 6.30pm to 8pm

Bunbury Medical Centre: GP and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner are available.

  • Friday      6.30pm to 8.30pm
  • Saturday  9am to 5pm
  • Saturday  9am to 12pm Phlebotomist appointments available

Training closures

 

We firmly believe that all our staff need to be well trained and to keep up to date with ongoing changes in the day to day work. Kelsall Medical Centre, like other practices in the Chester area, closes for one afternoon a month, in order that staff training can be undertaken.

If you should need urgent medical attention during these hours, please telephone the Out of Hours Service on 111.

The practice is scheduled to be close for training, from 1pm. We will open the next day at 8am:

  • Wednesday 16th October 2024
  • Tuesday 5th November 2024
